ABOUT THEJOMAYE MENON

My journey as a true and complete artist began through avery visual and beautiful dance form, Bharatanatyam, early in my life. Today is just a continuation in the way my art unfolds. Also constant exposure to gorgeous, colourful cinema sets which my family was involved in taught me how every object has a life of its own and when put together has a forceful impact on the senses through shapes, colour and forms . As a contemporary painter I have explored varioussubjects, from figurative to pure abstraction and have experimented with various materials to being forth my imagery .I have dealt with the absence of complexities in relationships between my forms by creating a metaphorical and idealistic imagery .
